Let’s stir things up!

It’s so much easier to change how you eat when you’ve got options – that’s why we worked with businesses who were keen to provide them!

From restaurants to hotels, caterers to takeaways, we worked with a range of food businesses across London to help them reduce waste, provide more healthy options for their customers and introduce food waste recycling in their kitchens and restaurants.

This work produced many benefits for food businesses, including:

  • Improved business efficiency and the knowledge to reduce and track waste;
  • Development of healthier, more sustainable menu options that also reduced the amount of food that gets thrown away;
  • An opportunity to promote the great changes that the business was making to their customers and employees;

Large employers in London also got involved by promoting healthy, sustainable eating and food waste messaging to their colleagues through internal communications, lunchtime cooking sessions or workshops. The aim was to get people engaged and champion changes that could make a difference, both at work and at home.
