The Promoter of the Competition is Small Change, Big Difference.
This is a free competition open to all residents of Greater London aged 16 or over on 1 June 2018.
Entry to the Competition shall constitute deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions so please read them carefully before entering the Competition.
You can only enter the Competition on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and will need to have an account on the social media platform on which you wish to post an entry. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Twitter which are simply used as entry platforms.
The Competition starts at 00:01hrs (BST) on 1 June 2018 and ends at 23:59hrs (BST) on 1 June 2018 so entries must be posted during this period to be counted.
Entries are not limited to one entry per person. Entrants may post multiple entries across one or more of the three social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter). Each post will count as one entry.
To enter you must share a food waste prevention, healthy eating or food waste recycling tip. Share the tip using #LondonFoodHacks on social media (your Facebook and Instagram accounts and your posted tip must be public. If your accounts are private we will be unable to see your post and your entry will not count, in which case use Twitter instead). Entries which include offensive or inflammatory content, breach copyright or breach the content guidelines of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or The CAP Code, will be deemed invalid and individuals may be reported to the relevant social media platform. Do not post personal information in entries such as name or address.
Small Change, Big Difference will select the Competition winner from all valid entries entered. Entries will be judged for which is the best tip to reduce food waste, recycle food better or eat healthily and sustainably.
By entering the Competition, you give permission to Small Change, Big Difference and Mercato Metropolitano to use your first name and tip in communications made on their respective websites and social media channels.
The Promoter will contact the winner shortly after the Competition date, which is 1 June 2018, via the social channel on which the winning entry was submitted.
The Competition prize is a set meal dinner for four people (one of which must be the winner) at Mercato Metropolitano’s community kitchen made exclusively for the winner and 3 guests by Mercato Metropolitano’s executive chef Gabriele Bagni. The winner will be given a gift card/voucher for Mercato Metropolitan which must be redeemed before the end of Summer 2018. The prize is not exchangeable for cash.
The Promotor may require for proof of identity and proof of home address of the winner.
If the Promotor does not receive a response from the winner within 72 hours of a first attempt at contact, or the winner was not eligible to enter the Competition, the Promoter may select an alternative winner.
The Promoter reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue this Competition with or without prior notice.
The Promoter will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries and takes no responsibility for entries that are not valid.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered as a result of entering the Competition or becoming a winner and from enjoying the prize. Nothing shall exclude the liability of the Promoter for death or personal injury as a result of negligence.
If any of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions.
The email address of an entrant will not be required to submit any entries and as such will not be added to any mailing lists. The personal details of the winner which will need to be provided to Small Change, Big Difference in order for the winner to be sent the prize will be processed in accordance with Small Change, Big Difference’s Privacy Policy which can be viewed at www.wrap.org.uk/content/privacy-policy
