Kingston-upon-Thames
Yay! Kingston-upon-Thames Council collects food waste for recycling into energy.
Does the council collect food waste from houses, and flats in converted houses?
Yes.
Does the council collect from purpose-built flats, and flats on estates?

What about flats above shops?

Do I need to use liners? And what kind?
Yes – please only use compostable starch liners, newspaper or kitchen roll, not plastic bags or biodegradable bags.
Are the liners available for free?
No – but you can buy them cheaply from libraries or buy them from local shops.
