Does the council collect food waste from houses, and flats in converted houses?

Yes.

 

Does the council collect from purpose-built flats, and flats on estates?

Yes.

 

What about flats above shops?

No.

 

Can I get a caddy from the council?

Yes – go to the Bexley Council website – https://mybexley.firmstep.com/MyServices – and look for ‘replacement waste containers’.

 

Do I need to use liners? And what kind?

Yes – either use starch liners, paper bags or newspaper.

 

Are the liners available for free?

No – you can buy these from most supermarkets.
